About Me
Hi, I’m Aricka (pronounced like "Erica"), an audiobook narrator, lifelong performer, and passionate storyteller with a heart rooted in music, motherhood, and meaning.
I bring a rich blend of experience and empathy to every project I voice. With a background in music education and a lifelong love of reading (over 100 books a year!), I specialize in narrating emotionally resonant stories, especially fantasy and romance, that connect deeply with listeners. My goal is always to honor the heart of each author’s work and bring their characters to life with authenticity and warmth.
Originally from Ohio and now living in Virginia, I’m part Icelandic, part Costa Rican, and fully devoted to my family—my high school sweetheart (now husband), our two incredible boys, and our hilariously quirky Italian Greyhound. My home is full of love, laughter, and the occasional impromptu a cappella concert.
When I’m not in the booth, you can find me singing in a Barbershop chorus and a quartet called Encore (with my mom and best friends), volunteering at church, or diving into a new book with a cup of tea in hand. I’m a proud INFP, a former music teacher, and someone who knows that the best stories—on the page and in life—are the ones that make us feel seen.
